In order to celebrate World Skills Day 2020, Ministry of Skills Development, Employment and Labour Relations have planned a series of events adhering to the COVID 19 security measures.
Skills Passport Launch
Skills Passport will be launched by the Hon. Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
To mark the event, 10 successful entrepreneurs who have followed TVET courses and obtained NVQ certificates will be awarded Skills Passports as a digital card by Hon. Prime Minister.
Live panel discussions in main Sri Lankan TV Channels will be telecasted with the participation of Institute heads and experts in the industry
About 20 YouTube video clips will be uploaded with the participation of Key Opinion Leaders, Youth Ambassadors, Public and private sector professionals, Students and Parents, for attracting youth for the vocational training.
