A series of programs on vocational guidance is being implemented by TVEC

A series of programmes on vocational guidance is being implemented by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission, Functioning under the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation, targeting students who will be sitting their G.C.E. O/L and Advanced Level Examinations this year. This programme will be conducted islandwide for selected schools in each educational zone. Even though this programme has been implemented on previous occasions, this time all these programmes will be conducted under the direct supervision of the Hon. State Minister, Dr.(Mrs.) Seetha Arambepola. The special feature this time around has been that this series of programmes are being implemented expeditiously and in a more formalized manner. 

Accordingly, two such programmes have been implemented on 08.04.2021  at the Debarawewa President’s College and Lunugamwehera Maha Vidyalaya in the Hambantota district, covering the Southern Province for which over 300 students participated.
